Project Manager

Custodia is a UK based company, founded in 2017, with wider presence in North America, Europe and Asia both directly and through strategic partnerships.

 

Our current key offering is the CC1 (Compliance Cloud One) service which records, stores and normalizes any type of communications data. This includes many common platforms such as phone email, SMS, phone calls, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and WeChat amongst many others. This allows companies to communicate in a compliant manner, whilst driving greater data-driven insights from the data they already have to store.

 

The Project Manager is required to take on an important role in the Professional Services Team implementing the Custodia product. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex software implementation and/or infrastructure projects with external customers. Working as part of a team providing multi-skilled service delivery as well as developing and maintaining the relationship with the customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up, organise, manage, control and deliver your projects on time, within budget, and to the right quality, in line with Custodia’s Project Management methodology.

  • Plan and control projects. This includes monitoring, risk analysis, change control & contingency planning whilst maintaining the overall direction and integrity of the project. 
  • Take financial responsibility as defined. • Produce weekly reports. (External and Internal) • Direct and motivate the project team.
  • Produce & maintain project plans using Microsoft Project.
  • Agree, maintain and monitor project plans with customers, in line with Custodia’s Project Management methodology.
  • Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources, and initiate corrective action where necessary.
  • Co-ordinate project tasks.
  • Plan and control project resources including managing the project team.
  • To liaise as necessary with other teams within Custodia.
  • Lead and chair key workshops e.g. scoping, project kick off and review meetings. 

Responsibilities

  • Utilising MS Project, plan in detail; considering the project scope, resource, schedule, costs, communication, and quality to ensure a smooth transition to the new solution

  • Ensuring that the solution is carried out, tracking project progress/milestones against the agreed plan
  • Responsible for risk monitoring and control.
  • Lead a weekly Project update meeting into the Leadership Team
  • Lead daily/weekly (as needed) project update calls with the customer, keep customer updated with progress and keep on top of customers to complete their tasks
  • A strong character with the ability to influence people across the organisation and within the client’s company to ensure that things get done when they need to be
  • Flexible as customer projects can be within different time zones and might require change of hours to support customer calls etc Essential Competencies

  • Ability to present to audiences and lead customer meetings such as design, requirements gathering or build workshops.
  • Proven project management experience implementing software and/or infrastructure implementations for external customers

Qualifications & Skills

  • Positive, proactive and self-motivated individual.

  • Strong interpersonal skill, working equally well as part of a team or alone with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to deliver messages clearly and concisely in line with the recipient’s viewpoint, be that technical, managerial or strategic.

  • Ability to present to audiences and lead customer meetings such as design, requirements gathering or build workshops.

  • Proven project management experience implementing software and/or infrastructure implementations for external customers

  • Strong commercial awareness.

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP Qualified

  • Competent in the use of MS Project.

  • Strong organising ability.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to foster and maintain good collaborative working relationships and promote the sharing of good practice.

  • Ability to inform and persuade others, understand issues and requirements, and respond with options and recommendations.

  • Ability to manage expectations and control change in an IT projects environment.

  • Flexible, with good time management skills; willing to work away from home and work anti-social hours when required.
